Staff training & development

Recruitment is a multi-skilled role that requires continual multi-tasking to succeed.

Your first month is a carefully constructed, module based program to give you the basic requirement skills required for the role. During this time you will be fully trained in the entire recruitment process, from taking the job specification from a client to liaising with the client long after a candidate has been successfully placed into a role.

As each day is enormously varied your training will also include advertising, taking ad response, registering candidates face-to-face, behavioural interviewing techniques, testing candidates, inducting temporary employees, client meetings, matching candidates to client requirements, seeking new business opportunities, taking exhaustive feedback throughout a recruitment process from all parties, building client relationships, helping candidates prepare and research for interviews to name a few of the topics covered.

In addition to the above you will also receive comprehensive training on our advanced recruitment software tool. It is a challenging and responsible role which is enormously rewarding across a multitude of levels.

You will then work closely under a Managing Consultant or Manager for the first year to ensure you attain the success skills to master your craft. As a Recruiter we will provide you with the best training, tools and technology to assist you.

Typically you will have ten to fifteen formal training days in your first year which will contribute towards industry-recognised formal qualifications if you choose to further your studies.

After your first year you will then have quarterly personal development meetings to ensure that your career takes the direction that you desire. Learning and development plans identify the specific needs of each individual. These needs are addressed through a combination of in-company bespoke courses, external open courses, on the job training and in-group secondments.

Every member of staff has a formal monthly review and half-yearly appraisals to ensure that they are performing to the best of their abilities and realising their career aspirations.

Our structure encourages career growth and opportunities for personal development and we train staff to the highest industry standards.
